POINT OF NO RETURN! Coronation Street Airs a GUT-WRENCHING New Outcome for Todd as Theo’s Twisted Games Spark Absolute Outrage!
Coronation Street has aired some upsetting scenes in the dark Todd Grimshaw and Theo Silverton storyline, as Todd tried to cover his tracks. George Shuttleworth has tried to help Todd escape from his evil, controlling partner, giving him a holdall with toothpaste, shampoo and money.
However, at the start of tonight’s episode, Theo discovered the bag, and questioned Todd about it. He tried to pass it off as George giving him as present for his move with Theo to Belfast, but it was clear that Theo was on the edge of exploding again.
However, rather than take it out on Todd, Theo headed to the Bistro to plonk the holdall down in front of George.
“This is yours, isn’t it?” Theo asked him aggressively. “Don’t look at [Todd], look at me. People go missing, don’t they? Is that what you wanted, George? For Todd to go missing, while your back’s turned.”
Theo told George, Christina Boyd, Summer Spellman, and the Platt family gathered about the table that they were moving away to start a new life together, leaving everyone shaken.
To keep the ruse that he was still under Theo’s thumb, Todd hurled insults at his loved
ones, telling Sarah she “changed blokes like you change your knickers” and accusing Christina of only being with George for the money.
He also told Brian Packham that he wasn’t “even interesting enough to slag off”.
Todd successfully placated Theo – for the time being – but left his friends devastated. They are still looking out for him, but with the move to Belfast fast approaching, can Todd get out before it’s too late?
