Taking to Instagram, Burton revealed he is taking a temporary leave of absence from the ABC soap until the summer.

“Hey everyone, I wanted to share that I’ll be taking a short break from @generalhospitalabc I’m newly married and looking forward to spending some quality time with my family. I’m grateful for all the support and will be back this summer,” he wrote as his caption as well as on a photo of him sporting Jason’s signature black T-shirt look.
