VICKY MYERS CELEBRATED: THE STUNNING REASON BEHIND DS LISA SWAIN’S NEWEST MILESTONE AS FANS UNITE IN GRATITUDE

The Coronation Street community is raising a glass to Vicky Myers, as viewers recently realized the actress has reached a significant milestone in her journey on the famous Weatherfield cobbles.

Best known for her compelling portrayal of DS Lisa Swain, Myers first appeared on the ITV soap in 2021. However, it was her promotion to a series regular in early 2024 that truly cemented her status as a fan favorite. Since then, she has been at the heart of the show’s most gripping storylines, most notably her rollercoaster romance with Underworld boss Carla Connor.

 A Wedding on the Horizon

The couple’s path to happiness hasn’t been easy. Their relationship was recently tested by the shocking “resurrection” of Lisa’s ex-wife, Becky Swain, who was previously presumed dead. Following Becky’s 12-year prison sentence, Lisa and Carla have since reunited. In a romantic twist, Carla surprised her partner by booking their wedding for April 23 at the glamorous Chariot Square Hotel.

 A Doorstep Discovery

However, soap land is never quiet for long. During the Monday (March 2) episode, the couple’s wedding bliss was interrupted by a mysterious arrival. Carla discovered an infant in a car seat abandoned at the doorstep of No. 6.

The mystery was quickly solved when Lisa pursued a fleeing woman, discovering the child is Connie—the daughter of Carla’s brother, Rob Donovan, and former prison guard Mandy. Given their history with Carla’s kidnapping and Rob’s jailbreak, the “Connor-Swain” household now finds themselves unexpectedly caring for the little one.
