Young & Restless Preview: Does Mitch Bacall/Matt Clark Die?

This week’s Young and Restless’ Friday episode ended with Nick promising that if anything had happened to his son, Matt would die. Well, that sounds like the beginning of a “Who killed Mitch/Matt?” storyline to us! And the CBS soap’s latest promo only leads us to believe that Matt, er, Mitch, may meet his maker sooner than he expects! Plus, things are heating up between Cane and Phyllis, and where exactly do Claire and Holden stand?

Complicated Couples

Claire tells Holden that maybe they should talk about what happened in L.A. But is she talking about the sex they had, his history with Audra, or both?

After Lily spotted Phyllis kissing Cane, he realized his ex wasn’t going to give him a second (or 22nd) chance, and he even pondered the fact that Lily never loved him as much as he thought she did. That sent Cane straight back to Phyllis, crying that it was time for him to focus on something else, something real. He asked what she was doing later. Well, if the promo is any clue, putting her lips all over Cane’s once again!

Mitch goes after Sharon YR

To Live and Die in L.A.

Sharon and Nick were stunned to discover that Noah was seeing Sienna, as Matt himself accused the young Newman of sleeping with his wife. At the Shadow Room, the shady Detective Burrow and Mitch ended up cornering Noah, and the next thing we knew, Nick threatened that Matt was a dead man if he had done something to his kid.

Coming up, we see Sienna tending to an unconscious Noah in some warehouse room they’ve been locked in. Across town, Sharon is startled awake by what sounds like a fire alarm. She grabs her purse and rushes out of her room. That’s when she opens the door to Matt, who looks like he’s there to kill someone!
