Whether it’s bringing over The Young and the Restless’ Devon and fully unleashing his charm or making a casual reference to Bold & Beautiful tycoon Bill’s Eye On Fashion magazine, the newest soap on the block does a fantastic job of teeing up reminders that it exists within the same universe as CBS’ other daytime dramas.

No wonder it was our pick for best show of 2025!

In the week ahead, Beyond the Gates takes another step toward its next crossover with Young & Restless. You’ll recall that power monger Bill previously told daughter Chelsea that he was pulling some strings to get her and fellow purse designer Kat a meeting with the head buyer at Fenmore’s, the chain of boutiques run by Genoa City bigwig Lauren.

Now the tag team are getting ready to peddle their wares — and we would be surprised if they didn’t get to make their pitch directly to Lauren herself!

Hopefully, next time Young & Restless’ Sally decides to give gal pal Audra a purse, she’ll have bought a ChelseaKat original from Fenmore’s! (As it is, it bugged us to no end that Young & Restless didn’t bother to give Beyond the Gates a shout-out by making the handbag in question one of ChelseaKat’s!)
