The ITV soap star has welcomed her second baby with her soap star husband
Emmerdale star Amy Walsh has shared the joyful news that she has welcomed her second daughter with her actor husband Toby-Alexander Smith.
On Monday, March 23, Amy, who plays Tracy Robinson on the ITV soap, took to Instagram to reveal the arrival of their baby girl, posting a touching black and white image that captured a small moment from those first days.
The photo showed her daughter’s tiny legs, with a hospital band still wrapped around one ankle, offering fans a glimpse into their newest chapter. Alongside the adorable image, Amy penned: “This time last week I was heading into established labour. We’ve been in the most magical bubble ever since”.
The heartfelt post was quickly met with an outpouring of love and support, including messages from her fellow Emmerdale cast members. Katie Hill commented: “Omg congratulations to you both!!” while Isabel Hodgins, who also became a mum earlier this year, added: “Amazing!!” and Lisa Riley wrote: “Congratulations to you all” alongside a string of hearts.
Amy and Toby’s relationship began in 2019 when the pair crossed paths in the audience of Strictly Come Dancing. At the time, Amy was there supporting her Emmerdale co-star Kelvin Fletcher, while Toby was cheering on his own co-star Emma Barton. Their chance meeting marked the start of their relationship, which has since seen them start their own family together.

The couple previously welcomed their first daughter, Bonnie, in 2021, and shared the news of their second pregnancy last year with fans. Announcing the update on Instagram, Amy posted a black and white video set to Northern Sky by Nick Drake. In the clip, she could be heard telling Bonnie: “Mummy and daddy have got a special secret to tell you.”
Now, with the arrival of their second daughter, Amy and Toby have entered an exciting new phase as a family of four, with fans and co-stars alike celebrating the happy news.
